What Carbonaa does:
- Measures your carbon footprint (Scopes 1, 2, 3)
- This is self declaration and not a certification — offset retirement records are issued by our verified offset partners
What our offset partners do:
- Execute and verify your carbon offsets
- Issue retirement records proving offsets are real and registered
Legal note: Only display offset badges when you have purchased verified offsets for that specific scope or product. Your widget shows one badge at a time — choose the one that matches what you actually offset.
How it works
💳 Pricing & Billing
Carbonaa does not charge recurring Shopify subscription fees. There is no monthly charge through Shopify Billing. You prepay carbon capacity at cost (zero Carbonaa margin); customers optionally choose to offset their order's carbon footprint at checkout.
Your prepaid amount is recovered through customer offset payments — every customer who opts in pays an offset fee that returns your principal to you. On top of that, you earn a revenue share (8–12% of margin) on every offset, depending on your tier. Net: you get your money back plus profit.
Carbon credits are retired immediately via ClimateTrade upon payment confirmation and are non-refundable — retirement is permanent and irreversible.
